What an attacker sees when they get a protected file

Why a stolen document is useless without access rights.

01 · Protection stays with the file

Protected files can be safely shared over any channel: messengers, email, cloud storage and USB drives. Protection can be removed manually with a File Explorer menu command.

02 · Access by list only

Only a user who is registered in Cyber-CryptOn and included in the access list of the protected folder or file can access the information.

03 · A "corrupted" file for outsiders

When the attacker tries to open the document, their application treats the file as corrupted and beyond repair: it refuses to open it or shows random characters.
